DEFINITION & MOVEMENT
Gasplighting is the distortion of people’s experiences with their own bodies particularly around health, sexuality and pleasure that can lead to manifestations of self-doubt.
The movement explores how our bodies, realities, relationships, and sexual wellness are still widely misunderstood and quietly dismissed. From outdated narratives to active misinformation to persistent gaps in research and education, these realities often go unchallenged and unheard.
Launching in LA in October, Gasplighting begins as a curated multi-sensory gallery exhibition. It will bring together brands, artists and cultural voices to examine and reframe these narratives through creative expression and immersive auditory and visual experiences.
GASPLIGHTING EVENTS
Designed to evolve over time, across content, conversation, and collaboration, Gasplighting is a curated sensory gallery exhibition. The series launches in Los Angeles at Wonzimer, where the experience brings a unique perspective at the intersection of culture, sexuality, and storytelling through multiple rooms that will activate all five senses. The space also features a bar and lounge for discussions, music and panels.

Kayden Kross
Reigning three-time director of the year, Kayden Kross began her career in the adult industry as a performer and transitioned to a role behind the camera in 2013. Her first project went on to win multiple awards as well as to top the bestseller’s list, prompting a passion project that culminated in the creation of Deeper.com under Kayden’s writing and directing work.
Since then, she has directed several highly acclaimed films including the award-winning dramatic feature “Drive”, the star-studded 5-part VMG crossover thriller “Psychosexual” and received the industry’s top honors, the coveted AVN Grand Reel Award, for her series “Muse”.
